Guide on what to wear on your Commercial photoshoot.

Hi there!

Many of my clients get nervous before about what to wear or even just being in front of the camera. Not so worry, I have seen it all and I'm here to guide you through the process. Besides, shy / nervous people are my specialty. I got you, don't you worry.

I have drafted a list of tips to prepare you for your fun shoot, so here we go:

  • Dress to impress
  • Avoid overly casual clothing
  • Feature different add-ons. Maybe a different jacket / preppy sweater to change into - just to switch it up a bit from picture to picture. Have it handy.
  • Suits suits suits :) Ladies and gents.
  • Avoid older, worn-out clothing and make sure those shirts are ironed!
  • Wear a belt on pants / skirts that have the loops for it - it can definitely finish the look
  • Stick with simple jewelry and makeup. Bring your make up for touch ups.
  • Guys bring your favourite watch
  • Try to wear solid colours and if you want to add a bit of pattern, keep it subtle (i.e client in the photo above)
  • Wear what is a good reflection of the version of you.
  • Put on some lotion on hands (and legs ladies) believe or not it shows on the pictures!
  • Shoes matter ( and socks ) please keep in mind when putting together your outfit

Have fun - you get to be my model for the day. I look forward in working with you and your team.
